3 Howls Navy Strength Gin
Best mixed in a cocktail that calls for lemons, when you have no lemons.
Objective rating:
The Tom Collins is made with:
• 3 parts Old Tom Gin
• 2 parts freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 part sugar syrup
• 4 parts carbonated water to taste
Mix the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a tall glass (a Collins glass) with ice, top up with soda water, garnish and serve.
The Tom Collins evolved from the John Collins created sometime around the 1860s by the head waiter of that name who worked at Limmer’s Old House in Conduit Street in Mayfair, which was a popular hotel in London.

A very smooth and floral gin that closely resembles Hendricks due to its heavy use of cucumber, but offers significantly more herbal and spice complexity.

The black peppercorn and lemongrass make this eastern gin a nice sweet and spicy treat without the astringency of regular Bombay Sapphire.
