Gun Club Gin, from Sun Liquor Distillery in Seattle Washington, is a unique Navy Strength gin that features fresh organic cranberries. Don’t worry, this gin, while complex, is well balanced. The cranberries compliment the usual mix of botanicals with Juniper being the primary. It’s rounded out with coriander seed, cassia bark, orris root, birch leaves, angelica root, and fresh orange peel which results in it not being too tart or too sweet.
This gin works well in any spirit forward cocktail, or where dilution from the mixers will be a problem. It also works well in any cocktail with cranberry juice where you want the flavor of cranberry, but want to avoid having the drink be too tart, too sweet, or too girly.
