A Negroni Cocktail is made with equal parts gin, sweet red vermouth and campari. Sitr into an Old Fashioned glass over ice with an orange peel garnish. Variations include serving straight up in a martini glass; mixed with soda water; mixed with tonic; or with a spritz of scotch. It was invented in Florence, Italy in 1919, at Caffè Casoni (now called Caffè Cavalli).
